Portugal's It Rocks!Bikes CS_08 Thirteen Cafe Racer

Today we are featuring Portugal's it roCkS!bikes' CS_08 Thirteen. This bike is a Monocoque which is their specialty. Now what is Monocoque - It is bike with integrated tank, seat and tail.

This Bike is based on 1993 BMW R80 RT.

They name it Thirteen, as always they uses music for the naming convention, This time they chose "Lucky 13" from Smashing Pumpkins. Also 13 was the lucky number of their client.

Talking about today's feature the bike they have used handcrafted monocoque. They used new set of oversized brakes, suspension and big bore 1000cc kit.

They rebuilt the RS1100 swingarms, including  shaft  adaptors  and  frame  modifications  for  a  perfect  rear  wheel  alignment, with rear disc brakes replacing the original one.

17 inches tubeless Kineo Wheels are used and Pirelli angel GT tyres are fitted 120/70 on front and 180/55 on rear.

Yamaha R1 Upside down front fork, reworked by them to fit the R80 steering column. Also Yamaha R1 front calipers and disc brakes.

For better performance a small oil cooler is used.

They used motogadget controls and gears like M unit V.2, M Lock, rubber handlebar grip, m-blaze disc turn signals and Motoscope pro dashboard which has revcounter, speedometer, 0-100km/h acceleration, g-meter, etc. This unit was mounted in an acrylic bracket designed by them and cut in CNC machine.

They replaced the engine side covers with the classic one and the head cover is replaced by the aluminium one. Hand crafted stainless steel exhaust 2-2 fitted by them.

They used Monza Aluminium Gas Cap.

Handcrafted leather Seat.

And for the finishing touch they painted the bike through airbrush technique and after that sprayed a thin layer of Glossy Varnish.
